Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta October 3-10, 2024

The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a magnificent event with close to 1,000,000 folks
attending throughout the week. Last year over 560 balloonists came. There are
many events that occur in addition to balloon launches.

For an introduction to the Fiesta grounds go to “YouTube Balloon Fiesta Field Map”
for a video with excellent graphics and area knowledge.

The RV park we plan to reserve is the South RV lot. There is variable pricing.
Reservations go very quickly so familiarize yourself in advance, and be ready to
reserve.

There are many volunteers that will park us individually, but it is completely “Rally
parking”, or first come first parked.

The trip itself is about 470 miles one way. We will take 2 days to go, 3 days at the
Fiesta, and 2 to come home. Once our group is formed we may add an extra stop in
the way home. The RV parks during the trip are TBD
