This is a repeat of our October 2013 Trip to Cochise County (near Texas Canyon). There are always lots of interesting things to do in Cochise County and this would be a good sampler of the "real" west for our newer members. The campground is also a retreat center and you can stay there without an RV. They have a nice saloon where we had a super steak dinner on Saturday the last trip, with entertainment by a very good cowboy band. During WWII it served as a secret prisoner of war camp for Japanese dignitaries and was the site of the original filming of the 3:10 to Yuma—the movie set is still there. And, it is very close to the Amerind Museum and lots of other interesting things.

There are only 13 full hookup campsites although there are a few more that are electric only, so we will need to limit the number of rigs on this trip. Sorry.
